Water and flour: magic! Let’s make some pasta
A hands-on workshop designed to introduce children to the Salento tradition of homemade pasta. An experience that parents can also enjoy alongside their children, becoming key partners in an experience that is so simple yet so special.
Everyone takes home the pasta they’ve made and the pasta roller for making maccheroni.
MONDAY 3 AUGUST
Let’s make biscuits
An experience that introduces children to simple recipes for making biscuits and wholesome treats. At the end of the workshop, a recipe book will be handed out with instructions for making a selection of these delicacies. During the workshop, biscuits will be prepared which each child will then bake at home. Everyone takes home a biscuit cutter

Nourishing Ourselves with Words
Reading a book and then discussing it; tasting a frisella and discovering how it’s made. A journey of learning and sharing. Everyone takes home a kit for making friselle.
